Rocks Off On Hump Day

There are a few other posts I have been wanting to get to, but in the meantime...

Lake Michigan Rock

In person, there are shiny flecks on the the dark part of the rock and little pink veining too.

The flecks are slightly visible in this photo of the backside.

The bezel is a circle of RAW, then peyote, in white, grey, pink.

I do love Rocks!

Love it! That stone is beautiful and I love the colors you used for the bezel.

I would love to learn how to bezel like this! I have several stones that need attention. Can you recommend someone who has such a tutorial? I am still such a beginner when it comes to beadwork but wanting to learn. I love this sparkly stone - nice work!

Beautiful feldspar filled rock that you bezeled. You have an eye for finding beautiful and unusual rocks. I bet when the sun catches the feldspar it really sparkles. the beaded bezel and beaded neck strap complement the stone well.

Well done. Did you cut and tumble it, or did you find it that way?
