I am really not enjoying where my mind went here! I immediately imagined that there was an old shack of a building nearby and the two bank robbers, who parked their once "sporty" cars used that old shack as their hideaway! That black car also reminds me of the Bat Mobile...

I think I need more coffee...

Seriously - it looks like this picture was taken WAY off the beaten path, which is why my mind wandered that way!

instant flash back to circa 1970. Our Christmas, family vacation from Oregon to Southern California, to Mexico. In a 1970 Chevy Impala - the whole family in that car (kids bickering). On the radio the most popular song (that they played on what seemed to be an endless loop) was 'Horse with no Name' (by America). And now that song will be stuck in my head all day!

Looks like a place where some family left their cars to die!

Years ago I knew someone who bought a piece of property, I don't know maybe 5 acres. It was in the middle of nowhere. He became obsessed with buying junk cars and putting them out there. I visited the property once, there were hundreds of cars. It was totally crazy.

Looks mighty bleak in those parts but I'd still like to see more of the surrounding space ... hope there's not hundreds of cars scattered about!

The cars look like they have been sitting so long that the tires have sunk into the ground! They would be beauties with some TLC.
