Handmade

My 10 year old Sunshine Girl made me these beads and the box and lid that contained them. It was a complete surprise! She said she didn't want to glaze them. She wanted them natural and Earthy "just the way you like things, Mama."

Best. Gift. Ever.

Christine, that is the best gift ever, and it is so great to know that your daughter pays attention to your likes. My son who is 28 made me a little jack-o-lanturn when he was in the 6th grade out of Alabama clay that I still have. It is one of my prized possesions.

Beautiful post, Christine! Moments like these make being a mom the best job in the world! Definitely the BEST gift ever and it makes it even more beautiful that she made them with her two small hands!

Sunshine Girlfriend has been holding out on me when I ask what she's been doing in pottery class. These are amazing. You have quite the artist there. Something very special.
