WTFriday?!?

It has been a looooooong time since a WTFriday?!?  post.  Way back near the beginning of this venture, I would post them when I wasn't completely confident that something should stay whole or go to the chop.  You know...those pieces that came out just like you imagined only a little underwhelming when all was said and done.  Lately, I have a stronger reaction to Keep or Chop.  But today, I need a little input as to which way it should go.

Here's it is :

Cynthia gifted me the snap and leather clasp.  She got it from Melinda Orr.  After using it, I will certainly be buying my own from Melinda.  These are beautifully made, easy to add on, and very comfortable.

I think you're on to something here ... the clasp is very interesting. Some pieces you just have to sit with longer than others.

Love it! It's like an elegant party on one side and a bit biker chic on the other. Keep!

I actually really like those spiral copper beads with the leather. I think they bring the whole thing together.

Love that post title.

I think you will find lots of wear out of the bracelet over the summer.

ok first. I'm so happy to see the gnome - he's a fav.

Now for the pattern. LOVE the ladder, and would keep this. The only thing I'd do is add more of those swirl copper beads. I have found that these leather snap endings need substance in the pattern ... so a 'thicker' use of beads.

I love the feel of this, the colors (especially those grey disc beads that match the snaps) and the chunk-i-ness of this is AWESOME! LOVE this!

this one is a keeper to me!

I love it. I agree with Cynthia that it needs more of the copper swirl beads. But, I like the ladder bracelet. The leather clasp is beautiful! You could make the attachment to the leather by stringing some beads instead of just using the thread without beads. Just a suggestion. But I think as you let it sit and look at it you'll come to love it!

I love all the motion and the different surface textures in this bracelet. And because you kept the technique unfussy and the design symmetrical, it all works!

Oh, I love the leather snap clasp! So unique. Your bead work is beautiful. The turquoise, black and copper combination works. I would say its a keeper!

I've missed that sassy gnome! I like the bracelet, but I think it needs more. I'm not sure more what but that leather snap is currently a bit overwhelming. I guess not everything can be solved with more beads, but for this I'd give it a try :D

I agree with what's been said so far. Great design, mad-crazy snap. Chunk up the rest to match it.

(Think I need to incorporate a "WTFriday" with teachers struggling with a unit, lesson or project. Sounds so much more interesting than a monthly Critical Friends Group "dilemma consultancy"! :-)
