CC7A Hop ~ May

The second monthly gathering of the CC7A ~ Therese sent this photo for the month of May.

And this is what I made with it ~ another month of full on Color!

I Bead EMBROIDERED with a lot of help from Cynthia!!!
This piece will be doing double duty and will be in mine and Therese's A Time To Stitch 7 Hop as well.  Because I am getting as much mileage as I can out of ANY DARN THING  I embroider.
The chain is oranges, green, blue, blue and gold.
The glass cab is compliments of Cynthia.  I am really happy with how this little beauty came out.  I see the benefits of knowing how to embroider but it is not something I love.  But I really needed to do it for Therese's month :-)

I LOVE how this turned out Christine! That piece of glass reminds me of a piece of hard candy, which is perfect for Therese's theme this month! and I love how those dark greens set off the vivid orange of the glass ... pulling out those stripes! awesome bead embroidery my friend!!

Beautiful - it truly looks like a butterfly wing! I love you tried a new technique, and you did it so well, as usual. Love the colourful combination too - the whole piece looks like candy and goes perfect with the candy store I saw yesterday! :)

Great combination of embroidery and stringing. Your balance of colors is absolutely perfect, so joyful and vibrant. Someone is going to completely fall in love with that and every time they put it on it will make them smile.

You did it! Embroidery without trauma (or at least without lasting trauma)! And it turned out beautifully - a light little froth that perfectly captures spring and the freshness of the lantana. Hooray for you!
