She Made ~ She Made April

Another month has passed.  I cannot believe how fast the time is flying!
Yesterday's disclaimer regarding my slow-to-respond ways for the next week or so apply to today's post too.  Thanks for the understanding.

Therese picked out a handful of agate beads to work with and also a fabulous Linda Roberts glass cab.
I really didn't think either one of them needed much embellishment.  I subscribed to the K.I.S.S. method here and am happy with the results.  I cannot wait to see what Therese made!!!  She always WoWs me!  Thanks so much for stopping by...even during these non-stop days when my brain is too taxed to form proper sentences, you all put a smile on my face :-)

(These were the best photos I could get.  Temperamental camera, computer messing with me{using my daughters' to piece this together}, and Rain.  But here they are anyway!)

Hi Christine,
I am so glad that you were able to post, but just in case you were not able to I put your pictures on my post too. I love the necklace with the sqaure cab, I would have never came up with that idea. Teh bracelet is simple and beautiful letting the Agates be the focals.
It is always a pleasure doing this challenge with you.

Luscious bracelet! I think it really shows them off - KISS pays off!

I like both pieces and love the simplicity of the designs.

But I really like how you did the cab. Is there a tutorial on how to do that? Would like to give it a try.

The agates are so beautiful, I like that you chose to spotlight them in elegant simplicity. And the dichro -- it's so sparkly that it doesn't really need much else, but you found an inventive and creative way to frame it simply. As always, you and Therese make me smile with your imagination and mad skills in these swaps!

I love how you beaded loops instead of using jumprings on the bracelet! Therese picked some gorgeous agate for you to work with! The cab looks beautiful the way you beaded it too!

I like the simplicity of the pieces, they show off the beautiful beads.

I definitely have a soft spot for polished agates. They always remind me of childhood camping trips, combing the streams for the prettiest stones - many of which were unpolished agates. And then the disappointment when they dried and all the shine went away. What a fun bracelet this is will be to wear.

And your bezel really lets Linda's glass cabochon shine.

I love the simplicity of the bracelet, and those agates are really beautiful! But I'm digg'n the way you did the focal in the necklace - that is so cool!! Absolutely LOVE that!
