I am honored to be in this group of Seven...these ladies are a creative bunch.
Participating in this Event and their Package Month and theme are :
Monique of A Half-Baked Notion : January ~ National Gallery of Canada
Moi : February ~ Round and Round
Sally of The Studio Sublime : March ~ Contrasting Colors
Therese of Therese's Treasures : April ~ Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Alicia of All The Pretty Things (and the brains behind this lovely continuing hop :-D ) : May ~ Seasons
Cynthia of Antiquity Travelers : June ~ SomethingOld/SomethingNew/SomethingBorrowed/SomethingBlue
Emma of A Polymer Penchant : July ~ not sure if Emma picked a theme but I would say, Beauty!
Something Old ~ Something New ~ Something Borrowed ~ Something Blue.
When I opened this package from Cynthia, all I thought of was Beach Wedding/Beach Boho/Beach Bum/Beach Beach Beach. But the Sari kept tripping me up, especially since it is white. Until I decided to go simple : choker with a little bit of sway. I added some leftover flat rounds from Therese's Lucy in the Sky package. This brought together a bit of wedding symbolism of you ~ me ~ us.
Here 'tis:
Thank you, Cynthia, for the awesome toggle, the push to use white, the blues.
And thank you Alicia, for putting this group together.
One more month, Ladies! Hard to believe we are nearing the end.
Not good self portrait so you can see how it hangs ;-)
Happy Summer Everyone!
My reading, writing, and visiting blogs will be spotty over the summer. I apologize for that and will miss the blogs I regularly follow. But ~ it's Summer!!! What can I do but swim/kayak/drive drive drive?!

Oh I love the "you, me, us" that is just perfect! So simply defines the feelings of the union. This would be perfect for that beach wedding, flouncy dress, toes in the sand. You totally captured it!
Hi Christine,
This is the best marriage to belong to the creative continuum always and forever! I love your simple necklace so cool and light for a beautiful beach wedding! I love how you beaded around the round beads to tie in the silver of the veins in the stones and the toggle clasp.
Therese
This design is very zen, Christine! I love the perfectly balanced stones and the lightness of the silk encircling your neck, makes it seem like the pendant is floating :)
A very fun necklace....wear it while you are out enjoying the summer!!
Love this little bit of sway! where do you come up with these ideas? maybe when you're being a beach babe ... have a fun, terrific summer.
Hi Christine I really like your choker. You chose just the right amount of dangles. It looks great on you.
Beautiful! I love the simpleness of it...something I would see on someone at the beach....great job!
Wow, Christine the necklace drapes beautifully against your neck, (you look great wearing it!) Doesn't the ribbon feel wonderful against the skin. Simple, elegant, and summery!
Beautiful necklace, Christine - and so perfect for the theme, you put it perfectly 'you, me, us'... that's exactly what every relationship is about :) I can definitely see beach wedding!
Thank you for your participation, again!
So simple and beautiful! I love how you incorporated the seedbeads ;)
I hope you are enjoying yourself in all your fun summer activities! That necklace is awesome! I really like the dangles and the simplicity of the silk. Very nicely done!
