And here is what was there to greet me! If anyone can identify it, let me know. It looks enameled and has spikes. Poisonous?!
Even though I was not blogging this summer, I was beading. Here is one of the necklaces I made this summer. Green Girl Studios bead, tile beads, twin hole beads and good old fashioned size 8 seed beads.
More vacation pieces to come!

Hi Christine,
I have no idea what kind of spider that is, but it has beautiful colors. Your necklace is beautiful too!

I like the asymmetry in your necklace and the colors. I've been hoarding some Green Girl beads for a number of years now. I've been wondering what to start next so I think I'll go look at my stash and get inspired. ; )
Here's your spider:

Looking at your spidey pics reminds me that inspiration can truly come from anywhere, as long as we know how to look!
I truly love this new work of yours ... the spider, not so much, but they are both amazingly beautiful!
really beautiful necklace! love the colors and the asymmetrical deisng - very cool!
As for your spider .....it looks like a bead - LOL! got caught in an enameling session - ha! But I would likely have run out screaming .... truly hate them!
Good design on the necklace. I just bought a whole bunch of larger seed beads- they are versatile.
Wow - that spider is crazy! Love your necklace too! :)
Oh boy! That is one creepy creature! I have never seen an enameled spider like that before. So special. Your necklace is gorgeous. What a unique design!
In my educated opinion, it is a bug..
I cannot believe you stopped to take a picture! I bow to your braveness!
That necklace is wicked awesome lady!
Janet's link shows it's a female, so you're about to be an Auntie! There's a "Charlotte's Web" image somewhere in there.
Your necklace has a tranquil feel, beautiful!
