Back in the Saddle Again

My first week back to beading after taking the summer off!  Feels good!  Feels real good!!!

Ruby was glad I was beading again too :-D

Do you ever go on hiatus?  Do you miss it when you are not doing it?  (whatever "it" is for you) Or are you glad for the break?

Hi Christine,
It is always a good thing to get back to what you love to do. When I take a break I am still thinking about what I want to make or when I see something I say to myself I can make that, so in a sence I did not really take a complete break from my craft. That is a cute little bracelet you made it reminds me of summer leaving and fall coming.

Cute bracelet! I have taken breaks from one specific craft, but I'm almost always working on something creative -- or at the very least, plotting and planning something creative. My brain, however? I'm afraid it goes on hiatus aaaaalllll the time! =)

Glad your back can't wait to see all the goodies you will be creating. Are you using your new studio? I love the picture of Ruby very cute!

Hi Christine - good to see you haven't lost your touch. I believe I have those same leaves and can't decide what to do with them. Nice bracelet. Ruby looks like she's ready to bead. No, I'm still on hiatus but almost back to normal.

How could you not be raring to go in that beautiful, new space? A very lovely first piece, too. Seems that the only time I take a break is when I'm moving!

Is that your new studio in the background? What a gorgeous space!

I sometimes take breaks from my beading when I travel, but then I bring my sketchbook. I never know what might catch my eye.
