Hop day is here! Yahooo!
A big THANK YOU to Erin at Elysian Studios for being a patient and understanding partner in this. She made all the buttons and banners and talked me through a lot of technical stuff. I learned a lot from her over the past couple weeks...no easy task on her part! Thank you, my dear, for not giving up on me!
Thank you to Lori at Pretty Things for doing last year's hop, which brought me into the blog world.
And a Huge Thank You to all of you for signing up! Now, let's get Hopping!
I used to make bracelets with floral fringe and leaf fringe. People loved them! I wanted to make more and never got to it. So I jumped at the opportunity to make one for this hop. What woman doesn't want a bouquet of flowers?!
Here is a second bracelet. A simple triple strand bracelet of Blues and Blacks.
And Here is the List of all the Lovely Ladies who signed on for the Hop. Pour another mug of what warms you and take a look at what they made :-)

Hi, Christine, thank you so much for sponsoring this blog hop with Erin. I really enjoyed being part of this. I love both of your creations, but the simple starkness and contrast of the second one really grabs me. It is gorgeous!!
Christine, Thank you once again to you and Erin for putting this wonderful event together and letting me be a part of it. Your bracelets are so pretty I really like the first one and you are right what woman wouldn't want to have bunch of flowers especially the ones that never die.

Both your bracelets are lovely Christine...the second one is kind of subtle and the pretty floral one has just got be yearning for spring! Thanks for organising this too.
Leave it to you to surprise me yet again. Just when I think you're all river rocks and textured beads, you pull out a bouquet of flowers! Both bracelets are gorgeous!
Thanks again for the encouragement and for organizing this hop. Looking forward to more!!
I'm particularly fond of the fringy one -- I love dangles and charms and such! And thank you so much for organizing this!!!! It HAS to be an annual event, it's such a good way to get the word out for the Global Genes Project.
I want those flowers!! I love both of your braclets but the flower charm one is super sweet!! The colors are right up my alley!
Thanks for organizing and co-hosting this blog hop. It opened my eyes to rare diseases and made me aware of things that I had no idea about - it's been a true blessing - thank you!!
Christine,
Thanks so much for taking the time to organize this hop. I'm so glad to hear it was a learning experience for you.
As far as your bracelets, they are both wonderful. I love the idea of a bouquet on your wrist, but the second one is the one I know I'd most likely wear. Whoever receives either of them will surely be blessed.
Awesome! I love both bracelets!Great colors and beautiful beads- the recipients will adore them! You did a beautiful job creating them, and a beautiful job co-hosting this hop with me! Big hugs to you, because I couldn't have done it without you!
Thank you so much for organizing this hop. So glad I get to be a part of it. The little flowers are so sweet - what a joy and the second bracelet is beautiful as well - love that color blue.
Beautiful bracelets. This was a wonderful thing to do. Love the flower dangles. So full of hope.
Christine, thank you for co-hosting the hop and getting us all together! Both of your bracelet are wonderful. I like the fun, spring floral theme of the first one and the second one feels chic and sophisticated!
Christine thanks so much for helping organize this for such a great cause. I just love the wonderful bracelets that you created. There will be a couple of very lucky mothers to receive such beauties made with such love. <3
Thank you for hosting and letting me participate. I cannot choose which of your bracelets I like best. Both are so nice, but with completely different feels to them. Good job!
Wonderful creations!
Oh, & thank you so much for hosting! I love doing this...;)
I must echo the comments above and thank you for hosting this event...so...thank you! Your bracelets are beautiful! I am especially in love with the first one!
I am thrilled to meet you Christine!! thank you so much for taking this project on and following dear Lori's lead!! I am also very grateful to her that it is because of her, you are blogging!! Got to love this internet connecting stuff!! I am thrilled that you are so pleased with my bracelet. It occurred to me that a DAD or a young boy who is living with a rare disease might want to sport one of these pieces, so that led me to the cuff look with fewer beady highlights. I also thought that the texture of the fiber, the softness and the feel of fabric might feel warm and comforting almost like a hug.
I want to participate next year and I will start earlier and make several more fiber pieces. I think that we should encourage folks to make some of these for a more masculine taste as there are woman out there who just do not wear jewelry (????) but who might be thrilled with super simple pieces!! Just some thoughts!!
I love your pieces and the flower one is a particular charmer!!!
Thank you so much for all your work and allowing us to be a part. Your bracelet made me smile and I know it will do the same for the one who will receive it.
The flowered one is so pretty.. but my heart belongs to that black and blue one :) Great job ! You just made two ladies very happy... or will as soon as they get them ;)
I love both of your bracelets. The first, with its flowery, leafy texture, will feel wonderful on the arm of its wearer. And those blue beads are enlivened by the silver and black in your three-strand piece. Beautiful work!
And speaking of work...thanks you so much for co-hosting this hop!
Thanks for organizing this hop!
It's fun to see two completely different designs on one blog. Just proves that creativity has no limits!
Hello Christine, Sorry for the delay with my blog today. I have everything posted now so please go over and see my contribution.
I love your bracelets so very much.
BEAUTIFUL! The first bracelet makes me wish Spring was here already. And the second has such a classic look. Love the blue and black combo!
Thank you so much for co-hosting this blog hop. :)
I love both of your bracelets Christine, but there’s something about a bouquet of flowers that is just delightful! I’m sure both recipients will be equally thrilled! Thank you for hosting this hop and for bringing us all together for a good cause.
Love your flower and leaf fringe bracelet. Very pretty.
Hadn't thought of adding another color to my blues to give it an added touch (your second bracelet).
Thanks to you and Erin for co-hosting the blog hop. Keep me in mind for next year.
