Lots to post...just not yet.

It has been quiet on the blog, except for the ATTS 7 sign ups and giveaway winners of Therese's Gorgeous Cabs!

I have been beading the winter away.  Truly.  15 hour days when I can get the time.  Because I am not going OUT THERE! Too cold, too much ice, too much snow.  I prefer to sip coffee or whiskey and bead during the winter.  So, while I have beaded every moment I have free, I cannot show you any of it yet.  How miserable is this winter?  I have made my pieces for 7 out of 9 challenges I am participating in between the end of March and the end of November.  The only thing good about winter is it helps me meet beading deadlines.  There have been many pieces that I think are done but then go to the chop.  It tears me up when I have to send a piece I worked hard on to the chop, but often, it is for the best.  Here are a few more buttons I worked on yesterday because I needed an easier project for a while.  These I can show you.
I made a button bracelet that sold and I forgot to photograph it. It was really cool!  I think I am going to make a couple more of them.  If I do, they will be some of the few non-challenge pieces I can show.  I am hoping to get the remaining two challenge pieces done before the snow melts...which could be June at this rate.
Bead on my friends, Bead On.

I think I like the tiny ones the best out of this batch.

They are all beautiful Christine! I love the one bordered with turquoise which make me think of summer. Yes this winter really bites! Sipping whiskey while beading sounds helpful in dealing with the season.

Gorgeous button earring Christine, I am really loving your button series. I wish I could bead all the time and not go anywhere, but even if we had the weather y'all are having I would be stuck at work all day and night LOL okay not really funny, but yeah more like one of those I have gone crazy laughs, that is just what I would be if that weather was here.

lots of lovelies. I totally agree about the winter, we just got out for a short walk this morning in some very weak sun. I am really over the snow & ice & cold.

I'm with the rest of the ladies, I can't get enough of those buttons! You hit on something that's simple but still really interesting. Truly, the absolute best use of buttons I've ever seen!

What a beautiful and clever design, Christine! It has that "I-wish-I-would-have-thought-of-that" awesomeness to it!

Me...the lover of winter...the girl from Chicago...is done with Winter, too! I never thought I would say those words! It's the damn ice that is killing me! Just got my patio back for one day, after daily chipping at that crap. Had sleet all day today and it is once again, an ice rink. And Winter will rear its ugly head again on Tuesday...

bead on!!!

I don't know which part of this post I love the most -- the fact that you're spending up to 15 hours a day beading (lucky, lucky, lucky girl!), the fact that whiskey is on the beverage menu, or the buttons earrings! The tiny ones are my favorites, too. Can't wait for all the challenge reveals...

I hope you're having fun while you do all that beading! I wish I could focus like that for so long. I just can't. Oh. . .and the buttons. . .GAH! In that batch where you like the tiny, I love the BIG ones! ;)
I do hope you make more of the bracelet as I need to see it now!

I saw your work on Pinterest. Thought I'd give it a go with some wood buttons my husband made for me. They came out really nice I think thank you for the great idea.
