Creative Continuum of Seven ~ March

Today is the Third of Seven dates from January through July we will be posting work we made with goodie bags other Bloggers sent us.  Alicia had the idea that we each send out six packages with beads or focals and on the 26th of each month we reveal what we made with a certain participant's package.
I am honored to be in this group of Seven...these ladies are a creative bunch.
Participating in this Event and their Package Month and theme are :

Monique of A Half-Baked Notion  :  January ~ National Gallery of Canada

Moi  :  February ~ Round and Round

Sally of The Studio Sublime  :  March ~ Contrasting Colors

Therese of Therese's Treasures  :  April ~ Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Alicia of All The Pretty Things (and the brains behind this lovely continuing hop :-D )  :  May ~ Seasons

Cynthia of Antiquity Travelers  :  June ~ SomethingOld/SomethingNew/SomethingBorrowed/SomethingBlue

Emma of A Polymer Penchant  :  July ~ not sure if Emma picked a theme but I would say, Beauty!

Sally sent me a mix of Czech beads from Arte Bella Surplus  and a focal from Kristi Bowman Designs.  I was hoping to make a bracelet, but as soon as I got to work with these beads, I knew what I needed to do.  And I knew that it had to be simple.

Earth and Sky Necklace

Thank you Sally...and thank you Alicia!

Next Month, Therese's Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!

Fabulous mix - and a gorgeous necklace! I love its fluidity, and the sudden pop of bright blue here and there. Kristi's components are so beautiful, it's interesting to see how everybody used them in a quite different way!
Thank you for being part of this group and event, Christine - it's lovely to check every month and see new creations on a given theme :)

I love it, Christine! And you will laugh when I tell you my favorite element: the green seed bead loops LOL. I have gone from frankly disliking seed beads, to being quite in awe of the serious design punch they can provide. Your necklace is not only elegant and super wearable, but the great asymmetrical focal assembly gives it that edgy surprise I crave. Yum!

I just love your necklace!!! It's beautiful. The colors work so well together and the pendant looks fantastic with the fringe! I love the colors, too!

Hi Christine,
Oh my your necklace is so pretty with all the colors of nature. It will bring brightness to your dreary day when you wear this beauty. Beautiful job on this piece.

Girl, I can't even imagine how long it took to complete this gorgeous piece! Love it so much but my favorite is the dangling red beads, awesome color! ... I'm sure y'all have a name for them that I don't know.

Oh that is so pretty! You did a wonderful job at having the contrast come together as a whole. I love the detail of the double style loop bail at the top of the copper, it totally makes it!

Christine, that is gorgeous! I love how it is contrasting and harmonious at the same time. It's just so pretty with all the little details you put into it.

So funny I just realized that you and I were the only ones that had our focal with the 3 tassels hanging down :) I love how substantial your fringe is with your focal, and the colors are perfect ... the red rounds with Kristi's focal matches perfectly ... and I think I see a little 'round and round' beading there - LOVE that in the strand along with those pretty blues. This is such a great design!
