Flowing

Closed my eyes today and saw myself wading in the Rio Grande, picking rocks. Green, Red, Yellow, Rust, Purple, Maroon, White, Grey. Quite the palette lying at the river bottom and along the banks. Don't forget to look down. You never know what you might find. And never be afraid to get wet. And always wear good river shoes :-)

thanx ladies!
Mandy, to drill the rocks: take a cordless dremel and use a diamond headed drill bit, put the rock in a shallow container of water(just enough water to cover the rock---i use the lid of a spaghetti sauce jar), carefully hold the rock down and drill. lot of fun! i gave up weaving for months when i started doing the rocks.
