Black and White Challenge

That I am here at all is a challenge met...still no computer.  Begging, stealing, borrowing wherever I go, just to check e-mails and post occasionally on Facebook.  I am done trying to make sense again of the old and ready to buy a brand new something...Asus, HP, maybe venture over to Apple?  The timing of my computer's demise is good, though...I always like to unplug in the summer, so I have that going for me :-)  This was my only official summer blog obligation, so after this, who knows when I will be back.  Ahhh, the sweet lure of Summer...a time to tune out and check in with nature.  Kayaking, swimming, lounging, sleeping, reading...long lazy days of summer :-)

But I digress...The Black and White Challenge Hosted by Sally...Thanks for the push, Sally!
I cannot figure out how to edit on the computer I am currently borrowing so I cannot crop or rotate the photos.  C'est la Vie.  The black rows are square stitch.  The center white row is peyote.  I added the pearls and laced them all together.  I really like how this turned out!

    Christine, the bracelet is exquisite! Thank you for participating in the challenge! I swear I thought that the middle white peyote rows,were fabric or ribbon that you stitched the brick stitch to, BEAUTIFUL design!!!

    Oh Christine - I just LOVE this bracelet!! What an awesome design. I bet it feels really great to wear and I love that you have pearls in it, too - perfect!! :-) I hope you get the computer thing worked out - new ones are a challenge to adjust to sometimes. I agree with you about unplugging in the summer, wish I could unplug more than I do!!

    So creative - absolutely lovely, and could there be more fun than combining square stitch and peyote? But then, you definitely know how to have fun...kayaking, swimming, lounging...I want to spend summer with you!!!

    Oh, wow, I love the three dimensionality. You took it to a new level by adding those criss cross rows of black beads that linked the pearls together. That really makes the bracelet, it was a stroke of brilliance!

    Hi Christine, Your bracelet came out wonderfully. You'd never know about the computer challenges you mentioned but I think using someone else's computer is like driving someone else's car - only worse! Plus your photos really are so good. I had real challenges with the clarity on mine for this challenge. Great job!
